Advocacy plays an integral role in the Association's work to fulfill its mission. We fight for people with diabetes in Washington, DC, in state capitols and in our courts. Diabetes Advocates around the country fight to increase funding to prevent, treat and cure diabetes; improve access to health care and eliminate discrimination against people with diabetes at school, work and elsewhere in their lives.
